Metic 3D operates an in-house developed PBF metal 3D printer, featuring a build volume of 280×280×300 mm and print speeds up to 1.5 times faster than conventional commercial systems. Materials such as Ti-6Al-4V and Inconel alloys are managed separately per machine to prevent cross-contamination.
The entire system—from printer control to software—has been independently developed to maximize process stability and reproducibility. The system achieves precision within ±0.05 mm, and surface roughness (Ra) can be precisely controlled according to design intent. Biocompatible metals such as CP-Ti and Ti-6Al-4V are processed with high reliability.
While delivering quality equal to or exceeding that of imported equipment, Metic 3D reduces installation and maintenance costs by more than 50%. These capabilities form the foundation of Metic 3D’s strength in producing medical devices tailored for dental and orthopedic applications.
